Cut your pieces Jeans 10"X17" and 6"X17" and other fabric 10"X17"

Fold the smaller piece in half hotdog style and press. See along the bottom of the cotton piece with the raw edges lining up

Sew the pockets (start with the center seam) 2.75" each. Make sure to back stitch at top and bottom

Sew a piece of velcro in the middle of the bottom 1/2 of large jean piece

center a piece of black or grey in the center of the top 1/2 of the cotton for the road

sew it on

Cut seven 1" X 1/4" strips of yellow felt and pin into the middle of the "road"

sew these on

make a strap of jean

Put the pieces right side together with the strap made from jean 3/4 way down with raw edge sticking out a bit. See lower picture to see final product placement of strap.

sew around edge leaving a spot open for turning

Turn right side out and sew around edge again, making sure to close the opening

Fold in 1/2 and press and then sew a line on the crease. This will make the folding easier later.
